October 4th-8th

 Hello Families, 

This week in our writing we discussed how to tell if we have written a complete sentence or not. Students looked at examples of complete sentences and sentence fragments, and then we used our spelling words to practice writing complete sentences. The next step for us is to apply what we have learned about complete sentences to edit our stories we are working on in Story Workshop. 


I can improve my work in writing. 



Notes for Next Week: 

Monday, October 11 - Thanksgiving Day, No School
Wednesday October 13th- Library day, Please return all Library books
Wednesday, October 13th- Community Walk 1:20-2:50. Please send your child to school with appropriate clothing for the forecasted weather on this day.
